About the Inn 13 Bourne Lane, Ogunquit, Maine phone: 207-646-3891 email: info@bournebedandbreakfast.com
When visiting beautiful Ogunquit, we invite you to make Bourne Bed & Breakfast your home away from home! The Inn was built in the 1860's; a Victorian farmhouse originally owned by the Littlefield's, one of Ogunquit's first families. Over the years it has been restored and carefully maintained to offer you light, airy guest rooms along with a large fireplaced gathering room; allowing equal opportunity for socializing or quiet relaxation.
Through the summer months we invite you to enjoy both our grounds and our front porch, favorites among guests for relaxing and reflecting on the day's activities! In the off season curl up by the fire and enjoy a good read, or the company of good conversation with loved ones and new friends. For the comfort of all of our guests we are a smoke-free Inn both inside and outside on the porch and grounds.
We look forward to welcoming you to Bourne Bed & Breakfast! Charlie & Ross
About the Innkeepers
Ross and Charlie have called Ogunquit home for 12 years. We have slowly wound our way northward during the course of our 22 years together. Charlie was born in Brooklyn, NY and Ross originally hailed from Minnesota. Together we spent most of our formative years in New Jersey and met there.
From NJ we spent 6 years in Boston, splitting our time between the city and Ogunquit; until the gravitational pull of Maine got so strong that we now call Ogunquit our year round home.
Charlie's background includes over 20 years as an elementary school teacher; most of those years in music but also spanning subjects as far reaching as Spanish and PE. Charlie also worked in the hospitality industry locally here in Ogunquit, serving as an Inn manager and retail store manager over the last several years.
Ross has spent his entire career in IT (hardware and software sales and marketing), and together, our objective is to make your stay at Bourne Bed & Breakfast one of the most enjoyable and relaxing parts of your trip to Ogunquit and Southern Maine. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our love for the area.
